Muhammed Niyas K. P, currently working as Assistant Professor IT at School of Business Management, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Jadcherla, Hyderabad campus. I completed my Ph. D from Central University of Tamil Nadu under the guidance of Dr. P. Thiyagarajan. My thesis is about the application of Machine Learning techniques for the early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease. I completed my Master’s from Central University of Kerala in Computer Science specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from 2014-16. I was the university third rank holder at Central University of Kerala during the Post Graduation. I cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) in the year 2017.
Teaching interests:
I have one year teaching experience in Noble Women’s College, Manjery, India during 2016-17. My teaching interests include Data Structures and algorithms, Operating Systems, Machine Learning, Data Science, Image Processing, Business Analytics, Data mining and knowledge discovery.
Research Interests:
My area of research interests includes the designing of novel algorithms for Machine Learning frameworks. I am currently working on the experimentation of feature selection algorithms for finding out the relevant features from complex datasets. I am also doing research on various statistical methods for designing efficient classifiers. I like to apply the core Machine Learning algorithms to solve problems in real world applications such as business, health, and sports. In short, the areas of my research interests are data mining and knowledge discovery, feature selection, data science, image processing using deep learning techniques.
